Cutting The BullShit
In health - In food - In Life
Hello .....
Welcome to my blog.
This is where I share what I’m noticing, questioning, and figuring out as I navigate health, business, learning, and being human.
Why I write and do what I do!
I am a practising Nutritional Therapist, and I also teach nutritional therapy. I am so passionate about my work because most people have been let down by the advice given, including me.
I didn’t arrive here from a place of perfect health or textbook answers. I came here sick, confused, and frustrated by a mainstream health narrative that promised balance while quietly making people worse. Low-fat, eat-everything-in-moderation advice nearly broke my body. Questioning it changed my life.
I specialise in Keto and Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction. Because it forces us to confront uncomfortable truths about metabolism, insulin, inflammation, and how deeply flawed much of our nutritional mainstream science really is.
Plus, when approached correctly, it truly can heal the body from the inside out, and it stops the endless food noise within.
My mind is not wired to accept “because that’s the guideline” as an answer. I pull systems apart. I look for contradictions. I ask why an approach is still taught when it clearly isn’t working. That instinct shows up in my clinical work, my teaching, and my writing.
Some of what I share is grounded in research. Some comes from practice. Much of it comes from standing at the intersection of science, lived experience, and pattern recognition, where real understanding lives.
Alongside health, I also work with practitioners on business, brand, and communication, because the same problem exists there, too. Shallow frameworks. Copy-paste advice. Voices that disappear into noise. And business advice that comes from the corporate world and often does not lie inside our world as holistic health practitioners, who often have many modalities and use them all to help our clients.
This blog is where I challenge the norm. In health. In business. In thinking itself.
If you are curious, sceptical, and unwilling to outsource your thinking to authority, you are in the right place.
